Fläkt Group SEMCO, a Samsung company, is seeking an experienced HVAC Field Service Technician to support mission-critical projects across the United States. • As a Field Service Technician, you'll be the face of Fläkt Group SEMCO at customer sites throughout the country.

• Commissioning and startup of commercial HVAC equipment
• Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and control system issues
• Conducting warranty service and repair work
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
• Performing root cause analysis and driving issues to resolution
• Training customers and site personnel on equipment operation
• Completing service documentation and reports
• Working safely while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction

This position requires approximately 90% travel
, primarily Monday through Friday. Candidates should reside within reasonable distance of a major airport. (e.g. Atlanta, DFW, Chicago, Austin, Lynchburg VA, and Charlotte NC)

• Experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting HVAC or electromechanical equipment
• Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and equipment manuals
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently in the field
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, climb ladders, bend, stoop, and perform physically demanding work
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the United States
• EPA Safe Refrigerant Handling compliance when applicable

• 6+ years of HVAC/R service experience
• Associate’s degree in HVAC or related field
• Experience with PLC / controls / DDC systems (preferred)
• Experience with building automation systems (BAS), DDC controls, or commissioning projects
• Technical school, trade school, or industry certifications
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word.
