As a Mobile Equipment Service Technician, you will serve as a critical technical expert responsible for ensuring the operational readiness of heavy-duty lifting and material handling machinery. You will leverage your expertise in hydraulics and electrical diagnostics to minimize downtime and provide high-quality repairs directly at customer job sites.

You will leverage your expertise in hydraulics and electrical diagnostics to minimize downtime and provide high-quality repairs directly at customer job sites.
Responsibilities- Execute complex field repairs and advanced troubleshooting on articulating cranes, truck-mounted forklifts, and heavy-duty conveyor systems.
- Drive equipment reliability by performing rigorous preventive maintenance schedules and mandatory annual safety inspections.
- Provide rapid-response support for emergency mechanical failures to ensure customer productivity remains uninterrupted.
- Translate technical mechanical requirements into clear, actionable communication for fleet managers and site supervisors.
- Manage the full service lifecycle, including accurate documentation of work orders, parts procurement, and inventory tracking.
- Uphold the highest standards of safety by strictly adhering to all state and federal regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain a professional, organized mobile workspace and company vehicle to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in heavy equipment maintenance, specifically with cranes or forklifts.
- Advanced proficiency in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical system diagnostics.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting 75+ lbs and working in diverse outdoor environmental conditions.
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to obtain a CDL within 60 days.
- Strong technical communication skills and the ability to document repairs accurately.
- Demonstrated experience with welding and structural component repair.
- Prior experience in a field-based service role managing independent work schedules.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex technical schematics and service manuals.
