Residential Electrician

Job Description

Pro Trade is currently seeking experienced Electricians for ongoing multifamily new construction projects. We are looking for candidates with strong experience in apartment construction who are proficient in rough-in work for residential-style units and capable of working independently with direction from the electrical project management team.

This position is ideal for electricians who can stay productive with minimal supervision, understand jobsite expectations, and take pride in quality workmanship in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform rough-in electrical work for new construction apartment buildings
• Install conduit, boxes, wiring, panels, and electrical components according to plans and code
• Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and electrical drawings
• Work independently while following direction from project managers and foremen
• Maintain productivity and quality standards on active jobsites
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues as needed
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with NEC standards
• Coordinate with other trades to maintain project timelines

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical experience in multifamily or residential new construction
• Strong rough-in experience in apartment-style buildings required
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Proficient reading blueprints and electrical schematics
• Knowledge of NEC code and construction safety practices
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance required
• Must have basic electrical hand tools and PPE

Preferred Qualifications

• Journeyman license is a plus
• Experience leading small crews or overseeing portions of projects preferred
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred
