Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Restoration Technician role based in Charlotte, NC. The Restoration Technician is responsible for assisting with the cleanup, repair, and restoration of properties affected by water, fire, wind, and other types of damage. Day-to-day tasks include setting up and monitoring drying equipment, removing damaged materials, cleaning and disinfecting affected areas, and supporting mitigation activities to prevent further damage.

The individual will document work performed, follow safety and industry standards, and communicate clearly with supervisors, team members, and customers on project status. The role requires working in a variety of environments, sometimes in urgent or emergency situations, and collaborating closely with the restoration team to complete projects efficiently and to quality standards.

Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess skills in Water Damage and Water Damage Restoration to assess affected areas and support appropriate repair and drying procedures.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Mitigation to help prevent further property damage and support stabilization efforts on site.
  • Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to interact professionally with team members, supervisors, and customers, and to document work accurately.
  • Candidates should possess awareness of Invasive Species and related considerations when handling materials and working in affected environments.
  • Basic construction, cleaning, or restoration experience is beneficial.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment and materials, stand for extended periods, and work in a variety of indoor and outdoor conditions.
  • Commitment to following safety protocols and using personal protective equipment appropriately.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as part of emergency response needs.
