We are hiring a full-time bilingual receptionist as a member of our team.
OverviewMetrolina Association for the Blind, Inc. has been providing services to and empowering people with blindness and visual impairment since 1934.
We are hiring a full time Bilingual (English/Spanish) Receptionist. We are seeking an individual who is flexible, adaptable, comfortable with a diverse community, and has good people/customer service skills. This is a full-time year-round position with benefits. You will be part of a talented team of professionals providing vision rehabilitation services to the dynamic Charlotte community.

Minimum Requirements- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED, Hi-Set, etc.) and related experience
- Bachelor’s degree (not required, but preferred)
- Pass a background screening, drug screening and credit check.
- Bilingual
- Spanish and English
- Screen all visitors via the video and intercom systems prior to entering the building and follow all security measures with check-in process
- Sign for all special deliveries and follow the procedures for mail delivery, USPS included
- Obtain caller’s name and takes message or arranges for appointment with person called upon
- Directs caller to destination, and records name, time of call, nature of business, and person called upon as required
- Operate telephone console to receive incoming messages
- Types memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents
