About JNP GroupAt JNP Group, we don’t just manage careers; we build legacies. We are a premier sports agency dedicated to providing world-class representation and personalized support to professional baseball players. We pride ourselves on being a 24/7 advocate for our clients, ensuring they have everything they need to succeed both on and off the field.
The RoleWe are looking for a Resourceful, Self-Motivated, and Spanish Bilingual Player Relations Associate to serve as a right hand to our lead agents. This is a high-stakes, fast-paced role that blends high-level logistics, personal assistance, and athlete advocacy.
You aren’t just an assistant; you are a problem-solver and a gatekeeper. Whether it’s coordinating travel, assisting with brand deals, or managing a client’s daily needs, you are the person who "makes it happen" before the client even realizes there’s a problem.
Key Responsibilities- Athlete Support: Serve as a primary point of contact for Spanish-speaking clients, assisting with lifestyle management, relocation, and day-to-day logistics.
- Executive Support: Manage the lead agent’s calendar, travel, and communication, ensuring all professional obligations are met seamlessly.
- Problem Solving: Tackle complex challenges independently—from last-minute travel changes to sourcing specific resources for clients under tight deadlines.
- Communication: Translate and interpret between English and Spanish for contracts, meetings, and personal client matters.
- Industry Integration: Assist with draft preparation, marketing initiatives, and maintaining relationships with team front offices and brand partners.
- Bilingual: Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal) is non-negotiable.
- Proactive & Resourceful: You don’t wait for instructions. You see a gap and fill it. You are comfortable navigating "grey areas" to find solutions.
- Available: Sports don’t happen 9-to-5. You are willing to be available for client needs during evenings and weekends when necessary. Availability to travel domestically and internationally to handle any unforeseen issues or concerns.
- Discreet & Professional: You will be handled sensitive information; high integrity and confidentiality are must-haves.
- Personable: You have a "client-first" attitude and can build rapport quickly with athletes, families, and executives.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management
, Business, or a related field. - Aspirations: You have an active MLBPA Agent Certification or a clear, demonstrated interest in obtaining one in the near future.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in modern communication tools and scheduling software.
- Experience: Prior experience in the sports industry or high-level personal assistance is a plus, but the right "can-do" attitude is prioritized.
- Direct mentorship from top-tier sports agents.
- An inside look at the business of professional baseball.
- A fast-tracked environment for those looking to become certified agents.
- Competitive compensation and the opportunity to travel.
