Contract Job Description
Client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Full Stack Engineer with extensive hands‑on experience in Java, Spring Boot, and modern front‑end frameworks. This role requires strong expertise in building scalable microservices, developing REST APIs, and leveraging AWS cloud services. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering mindset, excellent problem‑solving abilities, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain Spring Boot applications in a microservices architecture
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and asynchronous services
- Work with JSON serialization/deserialization and related data handling
- Implement dependency injection, security, and configuration management in Spring
- Utilize AWS services, including ECS, ECR, SQS, S3, RDS, Secrets Manager, Cloud Watch, etc.
- Develop UI components using React or Angular
- Maintain clean, testable, and scalable code using tools like JUnit, Mockito, etc.
- Work with containerized services using Docker and deploy to ECS (Fargate or EC2)
- Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams in an agile environment
- 8+ years of hands‑on experience with Java and Spring Boot
- Strong experience with REST APIs, JSON, and serialization/deserialization
- Expertise in AWS services, especially ECS, SQS, S3, Secrets Manager, and RDS
- Experience with Docker and containerized deployments
- Familiarity with queue‑based / event‑driven systems
- Strong SQL skills with databases like Postgre
SQL or MySQL - Front‑end experience using React or Angular
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, testable code (JUnit, Mockito, etc.)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation)
- Exposure to observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Cloud Watch Logs & Metrics
- Knowledge of OAuth2/JWT, API Gateways, Spring Security
- Experience with No
SQL databases like DynamoDB - Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, or Code Pipeline
