Position: Drupal Developer - Project Employee
Who You'll Work With

We are seeking a skilled full-stack Drupal developer with at least 3 years of experience developing and maintaining advanced, enterprise-level Drupal web applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in both front-end and back-end development, coupled with a deep understanding of Drupal's architecture and best practices. This is a project-based position.

What You'll Do

* Website Development:
Develop and configure complex Drupal applications, using commonly used features provided by Drupal core and contributed modules.

* Front-End Development:
Create responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces, using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, in custom Drupal themes.

* Back-End Development:
Build robust custom modules and integrate them with Drupal core and contributed modules.

* Troubleshooting and Optimization:
Identify and resolve performance issues, bugs, and security vulnerabilities in Drupal applications.

* Collaboration:

Work closely with UX/UI designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.

* Code Reviews and Best Practices:
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

What You'll Bring

* Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Drupal development, including both front-end and back-end work.

* Technical

Skills:

* Proficiency in PHP and MySQL.

* Strong understanding of Drupal's core and contributed modules.

* Experience with Drupal 8+, including custom module development and theming.

* Solid knowledge of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and Twig.

* Experience with version control systems such as Git.

* Familiarity with deployment tools and practices.

* Problem-Solving:
Excellent troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

* Communication:
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

* Education:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

* Preferred

Skills:

* Experience with front-end build tools and frameworks.

* Knowledge of web accessibility standards and SEO best practices.

* Familiarity with Drupal hosting platforms, such as Acquia and Pantheon.

* Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this role, we are hiring at the following targeted hourly pay ranges: $65-$75/hr.

Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
