Front-End Developer

Location: Charlotte, NC (Fully Onsite)

Contract Duration: 9 Months

This position is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non‑functional, and compliance requirements; coding solutions; unit testing; and ensuring that the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well‑tested interfaces. Job expectations include an awareness of industry development and testing practices.

• Code using UI technologies and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
• Utilize multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements
• Perform Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI‑CD) activities
• Contribute to story refinement and definition of requirements
• Participate in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle
• Contribute to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause
• Perform spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in UI development, with a focus on React and Angular.
• Proven track record of designing and developing user interfaces for high‑performance web applications.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating front‑end applications with back‑end services.
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to translate requirements provided by Business Analysts and provide wire‑framing design.
• Able to work on home‑grown applications and extend functionality as required; comfortable building multi‑page web applications from scratch.
• Knowledge of Apache Web Server preferred.
• Good communication and articulation skills, both verbal and written.
• Must be a team player and proactive in helping other teammates to achieve the team deliverables.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal guidance.

Experience in Java or databases is a plus.
