Summary:

In this contingent resource assignment, you may:
Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables.

Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.

Required Qualifications:

Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are company wide with broad impact

* Act as a key participant in developing standards and company wide best practices for engineering complex and large-scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines

* Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs

* Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors

* Make decisions in developing standard and company wide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives

* Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals

Key Requirements:

* Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

* Professional software engineering experience (or equivalent combination of work experience, training, military service, or education)

* Hands-on development experience with Java and/or React with Type Script

* Experience designing and building APIs and microservices

* Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership

Desired Qualifications

* Experience with .NET, Trading, or market data protocols like FIX

* Experience conducting code reviews, ensuring code quality, and supporting production readiness

* Hands on experience with E2E/UI testing frameworks like Playwright, Cypress and Selenium Web Driver, Cucumber/Gherkin (BDD)

* Experience building RESTful services using Spring Boot etc.

* Experience with cloud native architectures, including container platforms such as Kubernetes

* Working knowledge of software architecture and solution design principles

* Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git Hub based workflows, and modern developer tooling like Visual Studio Code

* Knowledge of application security practices, including identifying and addressing vulnerabilities using tools like Sonar Qube
