Mainframe Developer; CLT

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Mainframe Developer (CLT) to join their team. As a Mainframe Developer (CLT), you will be part of the Software Engineering department supporting the mainframe development team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mainframe Developer (CLT)

Location: Charlotte, NC

• Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives within Software Engineering.
• Review and analyze Software Engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
• Contribute to the resolution of complex issues and collaborate with team members to meet deliverables.
• Leverage solid understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements in project execution.
• Work closely with client personnel to ensure successful project outcomes.

• 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering or equivalent demonstrated through work, training, military experience, or education.
• Proficiency in Mainframe COBOL and DB2.
• Experience supporting offshore teams, particularly Shannon - Offshore support.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
