Must have skills/certs/technologies:
- Strong experience developing an application in
- FE:
React.js - BE:
Node.js - Android web development experience
- Mongo
DB experience - Experience in an agile/scrum environment. Must be able to understand what a user story looks like, understand the requirements, and know what needs to be done in a timely manner.
- Jira experience
- Must have a desire to learn React Native or have had exposure to it.
- Plus:
React Native
Preferred Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience with JavaScript and Node.js.
- 2+ years of experience React.js
- At least 3 years of experience with databases, with a strong preference for experience in document databases like Mongo
DB. - 4+ years of experience in developing RESTful APIs.
- React Native with mobile development experience.
- Understanding of asynchronous development and data security principles.
- Experience with testing frameworks like Mocha or Jest and familiarity with TDD/BDD methodologies.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
- Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, and perform thorough code reviews.
- Experience mentoring junior developers and leading teams is desired.
