Senior Platform Engineer

Our client, a leading enterprise in data and technology services, is seeking a Software Engineer 4 - Contingent to join their team. As a Software Engineer 4 - Contingent, you will be part of the Software Engineering department supporting critical data platform modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, proactive communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering.
• Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation.
• Contribute to the resolution of complex situations by understanding policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate strategically with client personnel to ensure project success.
• Support the modernization of enterprise ETL platforms by containerizing and automating deployment processes.

What's Needed?

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work, training, military experience, or education.
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Open Shift.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation, including building deployment pipelines (CI/CD).
• Experience working with large-scale enterprise platforms and containerizing complex applications.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and deployment orchestration.
