About the Role

We are seeking a Software Engineer specializing in Generative AI to join our COO Technology team. In this role, you will design and build scalable, production-grade GenAI solutions that process and extract insights from supply chain documents.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop agent-based systems and contribute to a growing document intelligence platform. This is a highly technical role requiring strong experience in Python, API development, and modern AI frameworks.
What You'll Do

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software solutions using Python and modern frameworks
• Build and enhance generative AI systems, including agent-based architectures
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs (FastAPI, Flask, Django)
• Collaborate across teams to design and release AI agents (approximately one agent every 2 sprints)
• Analyze complex technical challenges and deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business needs
• Contribute to architecture, engineering standards, and best practices
• Lead or support large-scale initiatives with broad organizational impact
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with senior technologists
• Ensure solution quality using both manual and automated evaluation techniques

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• 3-5 years of recent experience in Python development
• 3+ years of experience building RESTful APIs
• 3-5 years of experience working with relational databases
• 1+ year of hands-on experience with Generative AI technologies

Preferred Qualifications

• 9-12 months of practical GenAI experience in production or near-production environments
• Experience building and scaling GenAI systems using frameworks such as Lang Chain, Lang Graph, or similar
• Familiarity with agent-based architectures and multi-agent orchestration
• Experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform preferred), Open Shift, and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of AI evaluation frameworks, including LLM-as-a-Judge methodologies
• Experience with enterprise AI governance and responsible AI practices
• Strong proficiency in data processing libraries (Num Py, Pandas)
• Experience with Postgre
  
  SQL, ETL pipelines, and cloud storage (e.g., S3)
• Familiarity with Google AI Development Kit (ADK), or similar frameworks (e.g., Auto Gen, Semantic Kernel)
• Financial services industry experience (nice to have)

The COO Technology team delivers enterprise technology solutions supporting supply chain, operations, resiliency, and regulatory functions. This team partners closely with business stakeholders to modernize technology platforms and drive innovation through automation and AI.
