Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Java Platform Engineer (Application Programmer III) to join their dynamic team. As a Java Platform Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Application Development Department supporting the Sanctions Screening space. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, be a collaborative team player, and maintain a focused work ethic, aligning successfully within the organization.

** What's the Job?*
* + Work in an agile environment to develop, test, and implement software solutions.
+ Collaborate effectively with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Quality Assurance teams to deliver high-quality applications.
+ Contribute to system enhancements and develop new features for robust, scalable applications.
+ Engage with cutting-edge technologies in sanctions screening, including exposure to niche vendor screening tools.
+ Support offshore teams, including Shannon - Offshore support, ensuring seamless project execution.
** What's Needed?*
* + Proficiency in Java programming and experience with Openshift and Kubernetes.
+ Strong knowledge of Oracle, Unix, CI/CD pipelines, and Autosys.
+ Ability to complete tasks independently while adhering to project timelines and quality standards.
+ Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
+ Experience supporting high-impact initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
