10 is currently seeking a Lead Software Engineer - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This is an exciting full stack engineering role within a Wealth Management Technology team, focused on digital assets and shaping the future of wealth solutions. The team uses AI-driven development tools, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure within an Agile product model, offering opportunities to deepen business expertise while delivering highly impactful solutions. This is a hybrid position, requiring collaboration in the office three days a week.

• Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are company wide with broad impact
• Act as a key participant in developing standards and company wide best practices for engineering complex and large-scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
• Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges
• Make decisions in developing standard and company wide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies
• Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience (or equivalent combination of work experience, training, military service, or education)
• 7+ years of hands‑on development experience with Java and/or React with Type Script
• 5+ years of experience designing and building APIs and microservices
• 2+ years of experience mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership

• Experience with .NET, Trading, or market data protocols like FIX
• Experience conducting code reviews, ensuring code quality, and supporting production readiness
• Hands on experience with E2E/UI testing frameworks like Playwright, Cypress and Selenium Web Driver, Cucumber/Gherkin (BDD)
• Experience building RESTful services using Spring Boot
• Experience with cloud native architectures, including container platforms such as Kubernetes
• Working knowledge of software architecture and solution design principles
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git Hub based workflows, and modern developer tooling like Visual Studio Code
• Knowledge of application security practices, including identifying and addressing vulnerabilities using tools like Sonar Qube

$59.53 - $67.53 per hour
