Data Engineer
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a strong focus on data integration and backend development to build and scale enterprise data pipelines. This is a hands‑on role centered on C#/.NET console application development and ETL
, supporting high‑volume data movement into Azure Blob and Snowflake environments.
This is not a web/full‑stack role
—we’re looking for an integration‑focused engineer who can write code to connect systems, call APIs, and move large datasets across platforms.
- Senior‑level engineer who can own work independently and drive solutions end‑to‑end
- Background aligned to a Data Engineer / Integration Engineer with strong coding capability in C#
- Ability to design scalable integration solutions
, not just execute tasks - Comfortable working across teams and liaising with stakeholders when needed
- Design, build, and deploy C#/.NET console applications to connect to internal and external systems (APIs, SharePoint, SQL Server, etc.) and load data into Azure and Snowflake
- Develop and maintain ETL/data integration pipelines using SSIS (current state) and evolving tools like Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Partner closely with reporting teams to source, transform, and deliver data required for analytics
- Integrate with multiple data sources and endpoints, ensuring efficient and scalable data movement (100M+ rows)
- Troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines, APIs, and integration processes
- Contribute to best practices, reusable components, and technical documentation
- Act as a senior‑level resource
, supporting junior engineers and stepping in for leadership as needed
- C# / .NET (console application development) – must be able to build applications that connect to APIs and source systems
- SQL Server / SQL development – strong data querying and integration experience
- SSIS (ETL) – core requirement for current environment
- Experience building data pipelines and system integrations across multiple platforms
- Strong understanding of APIs, data movement, and backend data processing
- Python (growing need; used for data processing and integrations)
- Azure Data Factory (ADF) (newer tool, increasing adoption)
- Experience with Azure environments and Blob storage
- Snowflake exposure (team loads data; another team manages it)
- Familiarity with JSON, XML, and data exchange frameworks
