Software Engineer 4 / GenAI Engineer
Location:
Charlotte, NC or Irving, TX - Hybrid (3 days onsite mandatory)
Contract Length: 18 months (possible extension or conversion)
Pay Rate: $69 - $74
Top Requirements:
* 5+ years of Software Engineering experience with 3-5+ years of Python full-stack development (APIs, backend systems)
* 9-12 months of hands-on Generative AI experience (LLMs, agent workflows, or similar)
* Experience developing RESTful APIs and working with relational databases
Plusses:
* Experience with GenAI frameworks (Lang Chain, Lang Graph, Semantic Kernel, Auto Gen)
* Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred) and Open Shift/Kubernetes
* Experience with CI/CD tools and IAM concepts
* Background in financial services or regulated environments
* Experience building production-grade AI-enabled applications
Job Summary:
In this contingent resource assignment, you may:
Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables.
Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack software applications using Python
* Build and maintain RESTful APIs using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django
* Develop and enhance Generative AI solutions for document processing and automation use cases
* Design and build AI agents and workflows using modern GenAI frameworks
* Collaborate with business stakeholders and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions
* Integrate applications with cloud platforms (GCP) and container environments (Open Shift)
* Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and adhere to enterprise IAM practices
* Utilize data processing tools and relational databases for backend services
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
* Contribute to architecture design and engineering best practices
* Mentor junior engineers and support team delivery
* Apply AI evaluation techniques and ensure responsible AI usage aligned with enterprise standards
