Overview
Brooksource is seeking a Senior Front End Developer to support a large financial services organization’s Invest Web UI team. This role will initially focus on strengthening the Web UI layer, with an emphasis on modernization, security, and vulnerability remediation as the organization adapts to emerging risks tied to new AI-driven tools.

Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain scalable front-end applications using Angular and React
- Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities, particularly in response to emerging AI-related risks
- Refactor and modernize existing codebases to improve maintainability, performance, and security
- Contribute to architectural decisions and front-end best practices
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code) to enhance productivity and code quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including backend, mobile, and product teams
- Operate independently, taking ownership of deliverables with minimal hand holding
- Hands-on development experience with Angular and/or React
- Proven problem-solving ability and technical curiosity
- Experience using or strong interest in AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude Code)
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate professional maturity
- Experience upgrading applications and remediating security risks in front-end environments
- Familiarity with AWS or cloud-based environments
- Exposure to or interest in application security best practices
- Curiosity in financial systems or domains (helpful for long-term engagement and growth)
- 12-Month W2 Contract
