Java​/OpenShift Engineer - Financial Crimes Technology

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Java/Open Shift Engineer to join their team. As a Java/Open Shift Engineer, you will supporting critical AML and regulatory technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, and enhance scalable Java/Spring Boot backend applications for financial crimes detection and prevention.
• Build and support cloud-native microservices architectures within Open Shift environments.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications in Open Shift/Kubernetes environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Collaborate closely with infrastructure, platform engineering, Dev Ops, and Financial Crimes teams to support modernization efforts.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and technical design discussions to foster continuous improvement.

What's Needed?

• Extensive hands-on experience with Java backend development, particularly with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Deep operational knowledge of Red Hat Open Shift beyond basic CI/CD pipeline exposure.
• Experience containerizing and deploying enterprise applications using Docker and Open Shift.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for distributed applications in production environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git Lab CI, Tekton, or similar, and SQL/database experience.
