Role Overview We are seeking a technical lead with hands-on development experience to enhance, modify, and maintain applications in a Global Financial Crimes environment. The role involves designing, coding, testing, and debugging applications while working closely with business partners to define requirements and ensure acceptance criteria are met. This is an individual contributor position where you will partner with multiple technology teams to implement the target architecture and mentor new team members.

Key Responsibilities
* Design, code, test, debug, and document applications and activities.
* Collaborate with business partners to define requirements for application changes.
* Partner with technology teams to implement target architecture and migrate to strategic platforms.
* Take ownership of the end-to-end technical delivery of all projects.
* Mentor new team members and provide technical guidance.
* Ensure performance tuning of data-intensive applications.
* Utilize agile methodology and processes for software development.

Required Qualifications
*
* Experience:

** 10-12 years of experience with Java, including strong core java skills in multi-threading, collections API, and JDBC. A minimum of 5 years of experience with the latest version of Angular is also required.
** Technical

Skills:

** Proficiency with Spring framework, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Test Framework, and Spring RESTful services. Knowledge of Java profiling tools, performance tuning data-intensive applications, and experience with agile development processes, including Jira, are necessary.

* Education:

** A degree from a university is required. A BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or any quantitative discipline is desired.

Preferred Qualifications
* Background in enterprise stress testing.
* Knowledge of cloud computing or distributed computing.
* Prior experience in supporting lines of businesses.
* Prior development or infrastructure support experience.
