Position: OPEN SHIFT-FIN CRIME -CLT (Application Programmer III)
Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Java Platform Engineer (Application Programmer III) to join their dynamic team. As a Java Platform Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Application Development Department supporting the Sanctions Screening space. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, be a collaborative team player, and maintain a focused work ethic, aligning successfully within the organization.

What's the Job?

• Work in an agile environment to develop, test, and implement software solutions.
• Collaborate effectively with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Quality Assurance teams to deliver high-quality applications.
• Contribute to system enhancements and develop new features for robust, scalable applications.
• Engage with cutting-edge technologies in sanctions screening, including exposure to niche vendor screening tools.
• Support offshore teams, including Shannon - Offshore support, ensuring seamless project execution.

What's Needed?

• Proficiency in Java programming and experience with Openshift and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle, Unix, CI/CD pipelines, and Autosys.
• Ability to complete tasks independently while adhering to project timelines and quality standards.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Experience supporting high-impact initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
