Summary:

Location: Plano, Boston, Columbus
Duration: Starts with 5-6 months

Responsibilities:

Utilize AWS services such as Amazon S3, Dynamo

DB, AWS Lambda, and API Gateway.
Build Spring Boot–based API frameworks.
Design scalable and fault-tolerant backend systems.
Implement Kafka eventing mechanisms, including producers/consumers, topics and partitions, and event schema registration and validation.
Develop and maintain REST APIs, ensuring robust JSON and asynchronous processing.
Integrate CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native development practices.
Support large-scale platform or tech-enablement initiatives.

Requirements:

Strong experience with AWS services.
Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and API frameworks.
Solid understanding of Kafka eventing mechanisms.
Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and asynchronous processing.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native development practices.
Experience with Liberty systems technology design patterns and enterprise integration processes (if possible).
Exposure to microservices architecture and domain-driven design.
Knowledge of observability tools (logging, monitoring, tracing).

Preferred Skills:

Insurance background strongly preferred.
