Job Description We are seeking an Application Programmer III to join our dynamic team supporting the AI Copilot Agent initiative within the Global Technology division of a leading financial institution. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python, Apache Spark, Apache Airflow, and Spark MLlib and a proven ability to design, build, and integrate robust data and ML pipelines that meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.

This is an onsite role with a July start and requires individual contributor responsibilities. Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain data processing and ML pipelines using Python, Spark, and Airflow. Implement and operationalize AI Copilot Agent features aligned to enterprise architecture and governance standards. Write clean, testable code with clear interfaces and comprehensive unit tests. Ensure solutions meet performance, reliability, security, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with platform, architecture, and product teams to improve developer experience and delivery efficiency.

Troubleshoot production issues and optimize jobs for scalability and cost. Required Skills &

Qualifications:

Advanced proficiency in Python for data engineering and application development. Hands-on experience with Apache Spark, including Spark SQL and Spark MLlib. Production experience orchestrating workflows with Apache Airflow. Strong knowledge of unit testing, CI/CD practices, and code quality standards. Ability to design and integrate services with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces. Experience in regulated environments with attention to compliance and controls.

Experience level: 5+ years in software or data engineering roles. Preferred

Skills:
