Seeking a highly skilled and hands‑on Ab Initio ETL Developer to design, develop, and optimize scalable data processing solutions.

Requirements / Must Have
  • Strong hands‑on experience with Ab Initio ETL tool.
  • Expertise in graph development.
  • Knowledge of Ab Initio components and parallel processing concepts.
  • Experience with GDE Graphical Development Environment.
  • Solid experience in SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server.
  • Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL best practices.
  • Proven ability to design and optimize ETL workflows.
  • Experience with database integration and large‑scale data processing systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning skills.
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement ETL workflows using Ab Initio, ensuring high performance and scalability.
  • Build and maintain Ab Initio graphs using various components such as Reformat, Join, Partition, Sort, Rollup, and Lookup.
  • Utilize GDE Graphical Development Environment for efficient ETL development and debugging.
  • Develop data transformation logic and ensure data integrity across multiple systems.
  • Integrate data pipelines with relational databases using advanced SQL queries.
  • Optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting for production issues and data inconsistencies.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including data architects, DBAs, and business stakeholders.
  • Support deployment, tuning, and monitoring of data pipelines across environments.
  • Ensure adherence to data governance, quality, and security standards.
Nice to Have
  • Experience working in distributed and high-volume data environments.
  • Exposure to Unix/Linux shell scripting and scheduling tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Experience with data migration or modernization projects.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
