Full Stack Java Developer
Location:
Charlotte, NC / Jersey City NJ (Hybrid). Duration: 12 months.
This role is responsible for the hands‑on development, enhancement, and maintenance of applications within the Global Financial Crimes environment. The Application Programmer will design, code, test, debug, and document programs and activities. This position involves close collaboration with business partners to define requirements and ensure acceptance criteria are met for application changes.
Key Responsibilities- Design, code, test, debug, and document software applications.
- Enhance, modify, and maintain applications in the Global Financial Crimes environment.
- Work closely with business partners to define requirements and ensure acceptance criteria are met.
- Partner with technology teams to implement target architecture and migrate to strategic platforms.
- Utilize agile methodology and processes for software development.
Education: A BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or any quantitative discipline is required.
Experience: A minimum of 8-10 years of full‑stack experience in Java end‑to‑end application development is required, including at least 4 years of experience with Angular.
Technical Skills- Strong core Java skills, including multi‑threading, collections API, and JDBC.
- Knowledge of Java profiling tools and performance tuning for data‑intensive applications.
- Proficiency with Spring Boot.
- Strong coding, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Background in enterprise stress testing.
- Knowledge of or experience with Elastic, Hadoop, Teradata, or other big data distributed ecosystems.
- Familiarity with cloud computing or distributed computing.
- Excellent communication skills and a track record of implementing innovative tech‑based solutions.
