Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer - Automation to join our dynamic software testing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) and demonstrate expertise in test automation tools and frameworks. This role is critical in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through effective automated testing strategies.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Win Runner, QTP, Silk Test, and Test Complete.
  • Implement and enhance automation frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop comprehensive test plans.
  • Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality aspects of the software.
  • Continuously research and implement best practices in test automation and software quality assurance.
  • Document test cases, test results, and defects in a clear and concise manner.
  • Provide training and support to team members on automation tools and frameworks.
Mandatory

Skills:
  • Proficient in test automation tools:
    Win Runner, QTP, Silk Test, Test Complete.
  • Strong knowledge of automation frameworks and their implementation.
  • Experience in developing and executing automated test scripts.
  • Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Ability to analyze complex software systems and identify testing requirements.
Preferred

Skills:
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with performance testing tools.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in software testing or automation are a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
