Job Description

We are seeking a Java Full Stack Developer to support a large scale credit risk application for a financial services client.

This role focuses on backend Java API development and frontend UI changes using Angular and reporting tools.

The position is based in Charlotte, NC with three days per week onsite.

Key Responsibilities Backend Development

Design and develop Java based REST APIs supporting credit risk workflows
Build and enhance services using Java version 17 or higher
Develop and optimize integrations with Oracle databases and Exadata
Ensure performance, scalability, and security of backend services
Collaborate with architects and downstream consumers on API contracts

Frontend Development

Develop and modify user interfaces using Angular
Support UI enhancements tied to risk data and reporting requirements
Work closely with backend teams to integrate APIs into the UI

Reporting and Analytics

Build and modify reports using Micro Strategy
Develop dashboards and visualizations using Tableau
Support reporting needs tied to credit risk metrics and analysis

Collaboration and Delivery

Work closely with product owners, QA, and risk stakeholders
Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions
Follow enterprise development standards and SDLC processes

Skills and Requirements Required Skills and Experience

Strong Java backend development experience
Java version 17 or higher
Experience building RESTful APIs
Angular experience for frontend development
Oracle database experience
Experience working with Exadata environments
Micro Strategy report development experience

Nice to Have

Tableau dashboard development experience
Financial services experience
Credit risk or risk management system exposure
Experience working in large enterprise environments
