We are not accepting C2C or 1099 arrangements.

Location: Charlotte, NC (300 Brevard St)
Work Model: Hybrid - 3 days onsite (Monday-Thursday preferred)
Duration: 12-month contract (extension possible)
About the Role

We're seeking a hands-on Software Engineer with strong expertise in ETL and data engineering to join our team. This role focuses on building, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines and integrations, with an emphasis on execution over architecture.

You'll work with in an established engineering team, taking ownership of development and delivery of data solutions aligned to business needs. The role is highly execution-focused, with work driven through Jira-based sprint assignments.
Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL data pipelines and integration workflows
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data transformation and validation
• Build and manage Systems of Record (SORs) and data integration frameworks
• Develop, test, and deploy solutions using .NET technologies
• Perform data validation, quality checks, and troubleshooting across systems
• Execute against assigned Jira stories in an Agile environment
• Collaborate with architects and designers to implement solutions effectively
• Adapt to evolving toolsets (initially SSIS, with potential migration to newer technologies)

Minimum Qualifications

• 6-8 years of software engineering experience (equivalent to Lead Engineer level)
• 6+ years of experience with:
  • SQL development
  • ETL processes and data integration
  • Data validation and transformation
• Strong experience with .NET development
• Proven ability to work as a 100% hands-on engineer
• Experience delivering production-quality data solutions in an Agile environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Python
• Experience with C#
• Familiarity with SSIS or similar ETL tools
• Exposure to modern data platform technologies and migration strategies
