We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our team as we build the next generation of the ACN VIP Platform. This role requires expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing AWS-based applications, particularly in ETL and API development. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with AWS services, serverless architectures, and modern software development practices.

• Develop and maintain AWS-based API and ETL solutions.
• Design and implement scalable APIs leveraging AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, and RDS.
• Optimize data processing pipelines with relational databases.
• Ensure API and ETL job reliability through unit and integration testing, workflow orchestration, and event-driven automation.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments, manage infrastructure with Cloud Formation, and optimize operational workflows.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance performance using AWS-native tools such as Cloud Watch, SQS, and Event Bridge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business and technical objectives.
• Ensure that all uptime and System performance metrics are defined and supported.
• As necessary, support on-call and production support activities.

  Experience:
  
  API Gateway, Lambda, Cloud Watch, SQS, Event Bridge, S3, RDS, AWS Glue, Glue Crawler, Athena.
• Expertise with relational databases (Oracle, Postgres, or similar).
• Knowledge of workflow orchestration, including job scheduling and API integration.
• Proficiency in Cloud Formation to automate AWS infrastructure provisioning.
• Strong experience in Type Script (TS) and/or Python for API development using Serverless Framework v3.
• Hands-on development of Docker-based APIs.
• Expertise in CRUD transactions with relational databases.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for API deployments.
• Strong understanding of unit and integration testing, including mocking strategies for API development.
• Experience building reusable npm modules for shared API functionality.

• Experience with serverless architecture best practices.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture using AWS services.
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Knowledge of security best practices in AWS, API authentication, and access control.
• Python development experience for AWS Glue ETL workflows.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• 4 year degree in computer science or other related field or 7+ years of equivalent experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of the complete software development lifecycle.
• Hands‑on experience working in an agile software development environment (Preferably Scrum).

• Typical office environment Mon‑Fri during the hours of 8 A.M. to 5 P.M. Position is based onsite, 5 days/week.
• If relocation is needed, timeline for full relocation must be within 3 months of an offer accepted.
• The position may require occasional travel for continuing education, training or support.
