The Company is seeking a Founding Head of Engineering for Agentic AI. The successful candidate will be responsible for the vision and development of agentic AI, with a focus on technical leadership and hands‑on involvement in building and improving AI systems. This role involves owning the architecture and delivery of the systems, setting engineering standards, and working closely with legal professionals to translate legal workflows into AI.

The Head of Engineering will also lead a team, including hiring, managing, and scaling the AI engineering team, and will be instrumental in architecting expert feedback loops, agents, and knowledge bases. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in Python, and a proven track record of at least 5 years in a tech lead role.

Experience in building agentic systems in production, particularly those with reasoning, planning, and context management, is essential. The role requires a candidate who has worked in an AI-native development environment and is familiar with tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or similar. A background in a startup environment with a focus on high ambiguity, urgency, and ownership is also necessary.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of frontend or workflow UI development to effectively collaborate across the product stack and be dedicated to staying at the forefront of both AI and legal AI.
