Detroit, MI OR Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite) Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Agentic AI Engineer with strong expertise in Python, LLM orchestration frameworks, cloud-native development, and AWS. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and support AI-driven automation solutions, intelligent agents, and Agentic RAG systems leveraging modern foundation models and cloud technologies.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native automation and AI agent workflows using Python, Lang Chain, and Lang Graph.
- Build intelligent AI agents capable of orchestrating tools, APIs, workflows, and enterprise systems.
- Develop and implement Agentic RAG 2.0 solutions with iterative retrieval and autonomous decision-making capabilities.
- Integrate applications with enterprise platforms through REST APIs, databases, and external services.
- Containerize applications using Docker and support CI/CD deployment processes.
- Deploy, monitor, and maintain solutions on AWS utilizing services such as IAM, S3, Lambda, ECS/Fargate, and Cloud Watch.
- Work with frontier LLMs including GPT-4o, Claude 3.5, and Llama 3.x/4, focusing on tool-calling, structured outputs, and agentic workflows.
- Implement logging, monitoring, error handling, and operational best practices.
- Collaborate closely with architects and cross-functional teams while adhering to enterprise architecture standards.
- 8+ years of overall IT experience.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Python for automation and backend development.
- Hands‑on experience with Lang Chain and/or Lang Graph.
- Experience building AI agents and LLM-powered applications.
- Strong understanding of Docker and containerized deployments.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS Cloud services.
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, Git, and source control practices.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native application deployment.
- Experience with Azure OpenAI Services.
- Expertise in Agentic AI architectures and autonomous workflow orchestration.
- Experience implementing retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) solutions.
- Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and production AI deployments.
- 8+ years of IT experience.
- Proven experience developing and deploying AI/LLM-based solutions in cloud environments.
