Full Stack Java Developer

Job Description

This Java Developer position will be part of the Wholesale Credit Systems Technology team. The Java Developer role is expected to work closely with scrum masters, subject matter experts, technology and feature leads, and business analysts to refine initiative work and develop features in an agile methodology with proper unit and functional testing.

• Collaborate with scrum masters, subject matter experts, technology and feature leads, and business analysts to refine initiatives and develop features.
• Develop new features using core Java and Spring Boot within an Agile/Dev Ops framework.
• Design, write, and maintain SQL queries for application data access.
• Write and maintain unit tests and QA test automation scripts (RAFT, Selenium Framework, Cucumber Reports).
• Lead technical direction and provide guidance to the development team.
• Integrate UI scripting languages such as JavaScript, jQuery, React, or AngularJS into front‑end components.
• Ensure functionality and quality through proper testing, code reviews, and adherence to architectural patterns.

• 7+ years of hands‑on experience with core Java programming.
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries.
• Experience with unit testing and QA automation frameworks (RAFT, Selenium, Cucumber).
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to provide leadership and technical direction to a team.
• Commercial credit domain and banking expertise.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (required). Masters in Computer Science (desired).

• Spring Framework and UI technologies (JavaScript, React, AngularJS).
• Familiarity with Agile development practices.
• Experience with Octane and other QA test automation frameworks.
• Prior experience in credit systems or related financial domains.
