We are looking for a highly skilled Java Developer with expertise in Calypso to join our dynamic team in Charlotte. The ideal candidate will possess extensive Java development experience, along with hands‑on expertise with the Calypso platform, including deployment, configuration, and integration. Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $95k - $105k/year & benefits (see below).

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and resilient microservices using Spring Boot.
• Architect and implement RESTful APIs and integrations for enterprise applications.
• Optimize data models and queries working with both SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and No
  
  SQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) databases.
• Develop event‑driven solutions utilizing Kafka, ensuring reliable message processing and stream handling.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and fellow developers to deliver high‑quality software.
• Debug and troubleshoot complex issues in both production and development environments.
• Participate in code reviews, uphold best practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Support deployment, monitoring, and performance tuning of Java applications.

• Experienced in Java development with deep expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Proficient with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and No
  
  SQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Seasoned in implementing and managing Kafka messaging systems.
• Hands‑on with the Calypso platform, including deployment, configuration, and integration.
• Well‑versed in RESTful API design and development.
• Familiar with version control tools like Git.
• Knowledgeable of Dev Ops practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Possesses strong problem‑solving and analytical skills with excellent communication abilities.

• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with other messaging systems or event streaming platforms.
