QA Engineer (Front Office – Fixed Income / Python)
Location:
Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)
Duration: 12‑18‑month contract
Pay Rate: $65–68/hour (W2)
All candidates must be able to work on Experis' W2. (Client rules prohibit third‑party subcontractors.)

Must‑Have Experience- Front Office technology experience is required (trading‑facing systems)
- Strong knowledge of Fixed Income products (Swaps / Derivatives)
- Hands‑on Python coding experience (will be tested live)
- Our banking client is hiring two QA Analysts to support front‑office trading applications within a financial services environment. This role is highly technical and requires a strong blend of test automation, Python development, and deep domain knowledge in fixed‑income trading workflows.
- You will be working directly with front‑office users, developers, and QA teams to ensure the stability and accuracy of critical trading systems.
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for front‑office trading platforms
- Validate functionality across systems such as trading platforms, order management systems (OMS), and market data feeds
- Perform functional testing, regression testing, and integration testing
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and partner with development teams to resolve issues
- Ensure testing aligns with business workflows and regulatory/compliance requirements
- Document test plans, test data, and results for audit and reporting purposes
- Collaborate closely with front‑office stakeholders to prioritize testing needs
- 5+ years of experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, TestNG, or similar)
- Strong programming/scripting skills in Python (required) and Java or JavaScript (nice to have)
- Solid understanding of trading workflows, fixed income instruments (swaps, derivatives), and market data systems
- Experience working in front‑office environments (trading‑facing technology)
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, CI/CD tools and pipelines
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
1‑hour live coding/technical assessment.

- Understands fixed‑income products deeply (not surface‑level)
- Is comfortable coding in Python in a live setting
- Can bridge the gap between business users and technical teams
