Job Description API Developer / Backend Integration Engineer / Hybrid / Charlotte, NC or San Francisco, CAOur client is a leading financial services organization focused on modernizing its data science and AI platforms. Based out of Charlotte, NC and the San Francisco Bay Area, they are looking to hire an API Developer / Backend Integration Engineer on a contract basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the next generation of AI-enabled business applications. Rather than building models, you'll be responsible for creating the scalable service layer that brings machine learning and AI capabilities into real-world products. The team is modernizing legacy platforms and moving toward GCP, Vertex AI, and Big Query-aligned environments, providing engineers with exposure to cloud-native architectures and cutting-edge AI infrastructure.

Ideal for someone who enjoys solving backend integration challenges, designing highly scalable services, and working closely with both onshore and global engineering teams.

Contract Duration: 12+ Months
