We are looking for an experienced Calypso CIRC Developer with strong expertise in Calypso platform customization, integration, and upgrade projects. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Calypso CIRC (Cross-Instance / Integration / Reporting Components) and hands‑on experience in implementing and supporting trading systems within the financial services domain.
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $120k - $130k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role Responsibilities- Develop, customize, and support Calypso applications and modules.
- Work extensively on CIRC framework (integration, reporting, and data exchange components).
- Design and implement interfaces between Calypso and external/internal systems.
- Perform Calypso upgrades, enhancements, and bug fixes.
- Collaborate with business analysts, traders, and stakeholders to gather requirements.
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system stability.
- Develop and optimize batch processes, workflows, and reporting modules.
- Ensure adherence to development best practices and SDLC processes.
- 6+ years of experience in Calypso development.
- Strong expertise in Calypso CIRC framework.
- Hands‑on experience in Java/J2EE development.
- Experience with Calypso APIs, workflows, and event engine.
- Strong knowledge of financial products (Derivatives, Fixed Income, FX, etc.).
- Experience in system integration and data interfaces.
- Proficiency in SQL, Oracle or other relational databases.
- Strong debugging and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience in Calypso upgrades and version migrations.
- Knowledge of trade lifecycle, risk management, and settlement processes.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.
- Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, MQ).
- Prior experience in banking or investment banking domain.
