Software Engineer IV

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer / Tech Lead to join ***’s Digital Voice team and play a critical role in our Genesys Cloud IVR migration. This is a hands-on engineering leadership role requiring deep expertise in Java-based backend systems, cloud-native architecture, and enterprise integrations.

• Lead design, development, and deployment of middleware services for Genesys Cloud IVR
• Architect cloud-native, serverless, and event-driven solutions on AWS
• Develop scalable APIs and microservices using Java/Spring Boot
• Leverage AWS services:
  Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Aurora Serverless (PostgreSQL), and Fargate
• Remain hands-on with coding while providing technical leadership
• Collaborate across IVR, cloud, and business teams

• 10 years of hands-on Java development experience
• Experience as a Tech Lead while actively coding
• Strong expertise in Java/Spring Boot and microservices
• Deep knowledge of AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, Aurora, Fargate)
• Experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
• Experience with Angular or React
• Strong API security knowledge (OAuth, JWT)

• Experience with Genesys Cloud APIs and IVR integration.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for middleware deployment.
• Understanding of security best practices for API and cloud integrations
