We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer / Tech Lead to join ***’s Digital Voice team and play a critical role in our Genesys Cloud IVR migration. This is a hands‑on engineering leadership role requiring deep expertise in Java‑based backend systems, cloud‑native architecture, and enterprise integrations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead design, development, and deployment of middleware services for Genesys Cloud IVR
- Architect cloud‑native, serverless, and event‑driven solutions on AWS
- Develop scalable APIs and microservices using Java/Spring Boot
- Leverage AWS services:
Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Aurora Serverless (PostgreSQL), and Fargate - Remain hands‑on with coding while providing technical leadership
- Collaborate across IVR, cloud, and business teams
- 10 years of hands‑on Java development experience
- Experience as a Tech Lead while actively coding
- Strong expertise in Java/Spring Boot and microservices
- Deep knowledge of AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, Aurora, Fargate)
- Experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
- Experience with Angular or React
- Strong API security knowledge (OAuth, JWT)
- Experience with Genesys Cloud APIs and IVR integration.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for middleware deployment.
- Understanding of security best practices for API and cloud integrations
