Summary:

You will join a high-performing, award-winning engineering organization (300+ engineers across the U.S. and India) that leverages modern development practices, AI-assisted tooling, and cloud-native platforms to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
We are seeking a Lead Digital Assets Software Engineer with strong full-stack capabilities to support an eCurrency initiative within Wealth & Investment Management Technology (WIMT).
You will play a key role in designing and delivering scalable, cloud-native solutions, working within a fast-paced Agile Scrum team. This position requires both hands-on development expertise and technical leadership across complex initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead large-scale, complex engineering initiatives with enterprise-wide impact
* Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications and services
* Build and support RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
* Establish and promote engineering standards and best practices
* Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality, production-ready deliverables
* Collaborate with senior engineers, architects, and stakeholders to solve complex technical challenges
* Drive innovation through adoption of new technologies and AI-enabled development tools
* Mentor team members and provide technical leadership within Agile teams
* Contribute to solution design for cloud-native and distributed systems
Qualifications:
* Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
* Demonstrated software engineering experience
* Strong hands-on software development experience with Java
* Experience designing, building, and supporting APIs and microservices
* Experience working with AI-assisted software development tools (e.g., Git Hub Copilot, agents)
* Experience building RESTful services using Spring Boot
* Experience with cloud-native architectures and containerization (Kubernetes)
* Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git Hub-based workflows
* Proficiency with modern development tools (e.g., Visual Studio Code)
* Experience supporting trading systems, market data, or FIX-based platforms
* Strong understanding of software architecture and design principles
* Experience with code quality tools and secure coding practices (e.g., Sonar Qube)
