Technical Lead - Greenfield Syndicated Loan Platform

We’re looking for a Technical Lead to help build a brand-new syndicated loan system from the ground up. You’ll guide the technical direction across six Scrum teams using Scrum@Scale and Extreme Programming (XP). This role blends hands‑on engineering, architecture, cross‑team leadership, and strong partnership with business stakeholders.

• Messaging:
  Azure Event Hubs (Kafka)
• APIs: REST

• Lead technical design and architecture for a greenfield, enterprise‑scale platform.
• Work hands‑on with Java/Spring Boot and guide frontend and API integration.
• Shape event‑driven workflows using Azure Event Hubs.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Foster a strong engineering culture with XP practices (TDD, pair programming, CI/CD).
• Build a trusted, transparent environment across six Scrum teams.
• Mentor developers and reinforce best practices for quality, security, and reliability.

• 8+ years of engineering experience, including technical leadership roles.
• Strong skills in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and REST APIs.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, cloud storage, and Kafka/Event Hubs.
• Ability to work collaboratively with business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence, align, and build trust.
• Comfortable in multi‑team Agile environments (Scrum, XP, Scrum@Scale).

• Azure cloud experience
• Financial services or lending background
