We are seeking an engineer with deep Red Hat Open Shift expertise who can also contribute to Java microservices development. The position is weighted approximately 60% toward Open Shift container platform engineering – deployment, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting – and 40% toward building and maintaining Java/Spring Boot services in a hybrid cloud banking environment.

• Open Shift / Kubernetes (Heavy)
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience administering and engineering Red Hat Open Shift (OCP) or Kubernetes clusters
  • Strong knowledge of Open Shift deployment, configuration, resource management, security, monitoring, and log aggregation
  • Experience with Open Shift Operators, Helm charts, service mesh, and Ingress/Egress networking
• Containerization & Microservices
  • Proficiency with Docker and containerized microservices architectures
  • Ability to design, deploy, and support cloud-native applications running on Open Shift/Kubernetes
• CI/CD & Pipeline Automation
  • Familiarity with Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Tekton, or similar CI/CD tools
  • Experience building and managing automated build, test, and deployment pipelines for Java services on Open Shift
• Java Development (Spring Boot)
  • Strong hands-on Java development skills, preferably with Spring Boot
  • Solid understanding of REST API design and backend service development
  • Experience integrating Java applications with Oracle databases (SQL, JDBC, JPA/Hibernate)

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $55 - $65 per hour This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
