About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Java-Oracle-PLSQL Developer with strong expertise in Flexcube or OBPM (Oracle Business Process Management). The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise banking applications, ensuring seamless integration with core banking systems.
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $95k - $105k/year & benefits (see below).
Responsibilities- Application Development
:
Design and develop scalable applications using Java, Oracle PL/SQL, and related technologies. - Flexcube Customization
:
Implement and customize Oracle Flexcube modules to meet business requirements. - OBPM Implementation
:
Develop workflows and business processes using Oracle BPM Suite. - Database Management
:
Write complex PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and performance tuning. - System Integration
:
Ensure smooth integration between Flexcube/OBPM and other enterprise applications. - Technical Leadership
:
Mentor junior developers, review code, and enforce best practices. - Troubleshooting
:
Diagnose and resolve technical issues in production and development environments.
- Advanced knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL
, database design, and optimization. - Hands‑on experience with Oracle Flexcube (retail or corporate banking modules).
- Proficiency in Oracle BPM Suite (OBPM).
- Familiarity with Web Services (SOAP/REST) and API integration.
- Strong understanding of banking domain processes and workflows.
- Experience with version control tools (Git, SVN).
- Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Exposure to Microservices and cloud-native applications.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices.
- Experience with performance tuning for large‑scale banking applications.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
