Full Stack Java Software Engineer - Hybrid

10 is currently seeking a Full Stack Java Software Engineer for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Chandler, AZ, or Irving, TX. This is an 18+ month contract opportunity.

This role is part of a contact center technology team focused on migrating contact center software from on-premise to a cloud infrastructure. The selected candidate will be responsible for engineering design, development, and deployment, primarily using Java with Spring Boot and React to build middleware and integrations that fill product gaps and add value to the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are company wide with broad impact
• Act as a key participant in developing standards and company wide best practices for engineering complex and large-scale technology solutions
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
• Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives
• Make decisions in developing standard and company wide best practices for engineering and technology solutions
• Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
• Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• 5-7 years of Java Development experience
• Experience with Spring Boot, React, and Microservices
• Familiarity with working in cloud environments (e.g., OCP/Cloud Foundry)
• Experience with Kafka
• Must be able to work a hybrid schedule with 3 days onsite per week

Desired skills:

• Experience with GenAI/LLM, including creating agents (agentic AI)
• Experience in Contact Center Technology Development

Pay range: $59.53 - $67.53 per hour
