Detailed

Job Description:

1. Expert in API development and testing using JavaScript, Typescript, and common design patterns
2.

Experience with building/automation testing of Restful and GraphQL APIs
3. Experience writing programmatic API tests using Jest, Supertest, REST Assured
4. Experience in building applications, integrating API validation into CI/CD pipelines using Git Lab and AWS platforms
5. Experience in resiliency, performance, and security test automation is a plus

Job Responsibilities:

1. Demonstrate hands-on experience with distributed systems design and automation testing to build scalable, reliable, and resilient platforms
2. Establish test strategy/plan for modern and high-volume serving API platform
3. Mentor SDETs on testable system design, and automation engineering best practices
4. Open to learn and contribute to features built using modern technologies
5. Work on triaging production and integration issues from API consumers

Minimum years of experience: 5+ years

Education:

Bachelor's or Master of Engineering
