We are seeking an experienced Java Enterprise Architect with proven Greenfield design expertise and a strong Java development background to lead the architecture and delivery
. This role involves close collaboration with the client’s Enterprise Architect and Delivery Director to deliver large‑scale, innovative solutions leveraging Gen AI.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $90k - $125k/year & benefits (see below).

• Develop application code, write unit tests and integration tests using Junit/Spock/Jasmine/Karma.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, UX Design teams and downstream systems.
• Build cloud‑native applications using container technologies like Docker and deploy in Open Shift/AWS EKS.
• Support the production release, monitoring and triaging issues on time.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years of IT work experience in frontend and backend frameworks.
• Good hands‑on experience in core Java, Spring‑boot, Microservices.
• Good experience in Angular 6 or above.
• Writing extensive unit tests using automated TDD tasks. Creating E2E test suites for all components, and running them with Protractor (or a well‑reasoned alternative).
• Knowledge of Java EE technologies, Spring framework (i.e. Core, Security, MVC).
• Experience with build automation using Ant or Maven or Gradle.
• Preferred experience with Cloud and container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Open Shift, AWS, EKS.
• Preferred experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Gitlab CI or Electric Flow.
• Working experience of iterative and incremental development process.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills is key.

• Work experience in PCF, GCP, Python.
• Unix shell scripting experience.
• Database experience - Oracle SQL/PLSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server, RDS, DynamoDB.
