API Test Engineer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced API Test Engineer to join our QA Automation team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in API testing, automation framework development, database validation, and CI/CD automation. This role requires expertise in Python-based automation, Git Hub Actions, Playwright, SQL, and a solid understanding of Kotlin/Java applications. The candidate should be capable of designing scalable automation frameworks while collaborating closely with developers and business stakeholders.

• Design, develop, and maintain API and end-to-end (E2E) automation test frameworks.
• Create and execute automated test scripts using Python and Playwright.
• Develop automation solutions integrated with Git Hub Actions for CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform API testing for REST and SOAP services.
• Write complex SQL queries to validate backend data and identify test scenarios.
• Collaborate with developers to understand Kotlin/Java application logic and validate functionality.
• Build and maintain reusable automation frameworks and test utilities.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Analyze business requirements and convert them into effective test cases.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to automation best practices.
• Troubleshoot test failures and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain test documentation and automation reports.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience with Python automation scripting.
