The role is for a Mobile Engineering Lead at Lowe’s, focused on leading the mobile engineering team to design, develop, test and continuously improve mobile solutions. The position involves overseeing implementation, maintenance and successful deployment of business and enterprise applications as well as providing strategic guidance on the portfolio roadmap and overall health of the tech stack.

What You Will Do- Lead the Mobile Engineering team to achieve the company’s mission; manage performance and foster an inclusive work environment.
- Oversee the design, build and maintenance of engineering services and translation of business requirements into robust software solutions.
- Establish best‑in‑class practices, conduct code reviews and resolve defects at code and platform levels.
- Leverage Dev Ops and observability tools for efficient delivery and continuous monitoring of product quality.
- Partner with scrum teams to align capacity, increase velocity and reduce sprint spillover.
- Build and maintain stakeholder trust with internal customers, vendors and senior management.
- Resolve escalated issues across development, configuration and integration of enterprise applications.
- Design solutions using microservice architecture and event/data‑driven API integration.
- Collaborate with product teams to shape priorities across products and services.
- Participate in departmental budgeting, forecasting, and manage associated expenses.
- Provide resources and guidance for multiple services or applications in partnership with technology teams and business leaders.
- Lead all development phases, ensure adherence to methodology, policies and controller standards, and educate the team on operating procedures and key results.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems (CIS), or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 8 years of IT experience, including 8 years in software engineering and 8 years in SDLC implementation projects.
- At least 3 years of leadership experience with or without direct reports; coaching and mentoring of technical staff.
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- 5 years of agile software development experience with third‑party vendors.
- 5 years of work in an ITIL framework.
- 3 years of IT management in the retail industry.
- 3 years of senior‑leadership interaction experience in IT.
- 3 years of mobile engineering leadership on Android, iOS and backend engineering.

Pay Range: $ – $ annually, depending on location, education and experience.
