10 is currently seeking a Service Now Lead Software Engineer for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC;
McClean, VA;
Minneapolis, MN;
San Antonio, TX; or Chandler, AZ. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity.
This role is within the Cybersecurity group for the Technology Exposure Management Engineering team and will focus on implementing and supporting the Service Now Vulnerability Response (VR) module. The ideal candidate will partner with Technical Governance, Platform Architecture, and other developers to ensure that design, coding, and practices align with scalable enterprise solutions. This position will take on application development responsibilities for the Service Now Cyber Security Vulnerability Remediation applications.
Responsibilities:- Implement solutions by configuring and customizing scripting for all components of the Service Now VR product
- Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are company wide with broad impact and act as an escalation point for less experienced staff
- Design, code, configure, unit test, maintain, and document software deliverables using agreed-upon standards and tools
- Resolve coding, testing, and escalated platform issues of a technically challenging nature
- Ensure compliance and risk management requirements for the supported area are met
- Ensure that solutions delivered are secure, scalable, and comply with defined standards and best practices
- Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology teams, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues
- Partner with production support and platform engineering teams effectively
- Code Service Now solutions within an Agile framework
- Develop workflow and scripts as needed to personalize existing Service Now applications and automate business processes
- Manage deployment by engaging with enterprise platform management during release
- Manage Production Support by engaging as an L3 support team member
- Manage API integration with non-Service Now applications
- 7+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years of experience in Service Now Application development, installation, or troubleshooting; or similar Vendor Package
- 5+ years of experience with service-oriented architecture methods
- 1+ years of experience with web technologies - JavaScript, ES5, HTML
- 6+ months of experience with Service Now Vulnerability Response
- Certified as a Service Now System Administrator
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- 3+ years of experience with Service Now Vulnerability Response
- Certified as a Service Now Application Developer (required within 6 months of hire)
- Certified as a Service Now Implementation Specialist for Vulnerability Response
- Micro-certified in Service Portal, ATF, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, etc
- Experience in one or more JavaScript frameworks like Angular JS or React
- 2+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services
- 2+ years of Agile experience
- Integration experience with Qualys, Wiz, NVD, Phosphorus, Blackduck, Checkmarx, Invicti
Pay range: $59.53 - $67.53 per hour
