AI Agent Developer / Generative AI Engineer
We are seeking a skilled individual to develop AI-powered applications and intelligent agents within a secure enterprise environment. This role requires strong software engineering skills and experience integrating AI solutions into business systems. The position is located in Charlotte, NC, and is available on a contract basis. Candidates should be familiar with generic AI technologies and have experience in backend development and modern application architecture.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop intelligent agents and AI-powered applications. Build workflows that retrieve information, reason through tasks, and integrate with enterprise systems. Develop backend services and APIs to support AI tools. Integrate AI solutions with internal applications and third-party APIs. Collaborate with various teams to identify and deliver practical AI use cases.
Qualifications3 years of software development experience with languages such as Python or Java. Hands-on experience building AI-powered applications and solutions. Experience with backend development, APIs, and cloud services. Familiarity with prompt engineering and model evaluation techniques. Experience working with open-source AI technologies.
